Alexander bridges the realms of digital and analog photography by integrating modern SLR cameras with vintage and self-constructed lenses. His photographic works are characterized by intentional blurs, aperture artifacts, and serendipitous reflections. Through these techniques, Alexander deliberately distances his creations from the hyper-technical precision of contemporary camera systems and smartphone imagery, offering an alternative aesthetic that challenges the pursuit of perfection.

A self-taught artist, Alexander draws inspiration from the works of William Blake, the evocative symbolism of French artist Odilon Redon, and the visual aesthetics of the progressive rock movement of the 1960s.

Since the late 2000s, his photography has been featured in publications such as Sleek, Twin, Vice, Lodown, Gup, and Fotografia. His artistic practice has also been enriched by numerous exhibitions and participation in festivals, including the PhotoIreland Festival, Voies-Off in Arles, and the Festival Internacional de Fotografia de Belo Horizonte.

Currently based in Stuttgart, Germany, Alexander continues to live, work, and engage in meditation as integral aspect of his creative process.
