Alexander bridges the realms of digital and analog photography by integrating modern SLR cameras with vintage and self-constructed lenses. His images live in blur, aperture quirks, and chance reflections. Imperfection becomes a strategy: instability and material trace stay visible, intuition takes the lead. The result is a visual language that resists perfection.
A self-taught artist, Alexander draws inspiration from the works of William Blake and the visual language of the progressive rock movement.
Since the late 2000s, his photography has been featured in publications such as Sleek, DUMMY, Twin, Lodown, Gup, and Fotografia. His artistic practice has also been enriched by numerous exhibitions and participation in festivals, including the PhotoIreland Festival, Voies-Off in Arles, and the Festival Internacional de Fotografia de Belo Horizonte.
Currently based in Stuttgart, Germany, Alexander continues to engage in meditation as integral aspect of his creative process.
